Rainbows throw a party!
Monday, 09 July 2012
Rainbows turned 25 this year, and Haslemere Division Rainbows held a party to mark the occasion at Loseley Fields School in Godalming.
More than 20 Rainbows from Godalming and Haslemere units attended the event.
The afternoon started off with the girls making crowns. Later on in the afternoon was bracelet making and party games including pass the parcel, musical statues, parachute games and even the Hokey Cokey. The activities continued with the Rainbows making people out of balloons and singing Guiding songs before they enjoyed a party tea.
After tea the Rainbows sang Happy Birthday and each had a specially made cupcake in true party style.
The Rainbows are always looking for volunteers and welcome new Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Young Leaders. Visit www.girlguiding.org.uk or contact Sonia Dann on 01483 414529 or via email at divcommhaslemere@hotmail.co.uk.
